A new double height off form concrete and glass structure to the rear of an existing two storey residence.

The existing layout of the residence was altered to provide a connection to the living and dining zone that is contained within the new double height void. This area then flows externally on to an open timber deck and in ground pool with associated landscaping.

Both levels of the existing residence benefit from the new works to the rear. The ground floor is somewhat compressed before entering into an area of volume whilst on the first floor a secondary living space and master bedroom benefit from the light filled upper areas.

The materials used included off form concrete, large format floor tiles with underfloor heating, aluminium framed windows and doors, dressed hardwood timber, honed sandstone, colorbond roof sheeting, gas fireplace and stone bench tops. A detailed landscaped design was also completed by Site Design.
